About Us
The team at Truckle & Co are passionate about bringing you some of the hardest to find and most highly sought after ingredients used by the finest chefs around the world. We have taken the hard work out of sourcing the best specialty foods so that you can bring these into your kitchen and onto your tables with ease. Our philosophy is simple - we love great food and we want to share this with you.

From our home in beautiful Tasmania, we hand select premium products from Australia and across the globe. We carefully curate our range, basing our selections first and foremost on taste, so you can create exceptional dishes at home in your everyday cooking or when entertaining.

Our founder Silvana Taurian, has an extensive background in the restaurant and food industry. Her family had one of Tasmania’s first licensed restaurants, Quigley’s for nearly 30 years and after growing up around the business, Silvana then ventured into her own with Taurian’s Restaurant in picturesque Battery Point, Hobart. She left Tasmania in the mid nineties to further her food journey and after working in restaurants, specialty food retailing and distribution across three states of Australia, then returned to Tasmania to establish Truckle & Co where she could share the secrets and food knowledge she had garnered.
